Q. How long will it take to transform my smile?
A. Most of my clients have a new smile after just 3 visits which can be done over a period of 2-3 weeks.
Q. How long will my smile last?
A. Veneers are very strong; there is research that shows that they increase the strength of a tooth by 500%, which is amazing. The comprehensive examination ensures that a meticulous level of planning is undertaken resulting in a perfect smile and a perfect bite.
Q. When I am Whitening my teeth is there such a thing as too white?
A. I will always advise you, but ultimately you get to decide. Veneers and crowns are advised by my porcelain artist who is supremely talented at crafting a naturally white and youthful smile taking into account the other surrounding teeth.
Q. How much will my new smile cost?
A. The cost varies according to what you need; a new smile could mean just bleaching through to crowns and veneers. The best place to start is with a consultation and an informal discussion about what you are hoping to achieve. I would say though that my fees reflect a no compromise philosophy.
Q. Why do you spend so much time on the bite analysis, I just want a new smile?
A. First and foremost I want you to have healthy teeth and gums. When I give you the perfect bite your new smile will last for many years. Dentists who do not pay attention to the bite may place porcelain veneers in positions which are likley to fracture or fall off. A new smile which does not have the correct aligned bite may also cause headaches and joint problems.
Q. Will my treatment hurt?
A. Many of my clients have fallen asleep during treatment, so, a short answer is no.
Q. I am scared of visiting the dentist; I’ve had horrible experiences when I was young. How will you handle me?
A. I specialise in treating cowards because I used to be one myself! So, relax.
